To set up and configure the OPOS drivers for the MagTek USB Mini Magnetic Stripe Reader so that it can be used in Microsoft Dynamics RMS Store Operations, follow these steps:ĭownload the MagTek USB Swipe & Insert Reader driver installation from the following MagTek Web site and save it to an easily found location:ĭouble-click the 99510026.exe installation file.Īccept all the default settings during the installation.Ĭlick Start, click All Programs, click MagTek, and then click MagTek USBMSR Demo.Ĭlick Load file and select Change to Hid.txt from the C:\Program Files\MagTek\USBMSR folder.ĭownload the MagTek USB (HID) Swipe Reader driver installation from the following MagTek Web site and save it to an easily found location:ĭouble-click the 99510069.exe installation file.
